About Me
I am currently in my first year of study at the University of Winchester to do Events
Management. The ability to complete this course has been a passion of mine as I will use it to reach my goal of becoming a wedding planner. I am the youngest of three with an older brother and sister. I love pets and have grown up with dogs throughout my life. I thoroughly enjoy taking my dog for walks along new trails and through new areas. I grew up around a nursery setting as my mum has continuously worked within the childcare industry and have had the luxury of gaining an insight into the world of childcare.
My Experience
Since 2022 I have worked at a children's activity centre on Bournemouth Pier. I have experienced various positions throughout my time at Rock Reef including being a receptionist, cafe assistant and activity instructor. During each position I learnt new skills and was offered the ability to expand my experience. For example during my time on reception I would organise our birthday bookings and ensure each area of the business was kept up to date with any changes. Additionally, with my role as cafe assistant I ensured the area was kept to a high level of cleanliness and ensured all safety standards where followed. This included ensuring all allergies and intolerances where taken seriously and completed correctly during the food preparation. As part of my Bronze Duke of Edinburgh I volunteered at a nursery where l participated in the care of toddlers and helped with their daily activities. Furthermore, alongside my mum l additionally partook in the care of my late Grandmother which involved the preparation of her meals, administered medicine and helped around the house with miscellaneous tasks.
My Qualifications
When I completed my GCSE's I gained a grade 5 in Mathematics, a 7 in English Literature, a 6 in English Language, a 5-5 in Combined Science and a Distinction in Hospitality & Catering. In addition to these qualifications I gained a B-TEC Level 3 Business Foundation Diploma.
My Availability
I am free all day Monday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. However, I am restricted on my hours on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday as these are the days I have my lectures. During these days I am free either in the mornings or the evenings.
