My Summary
About Me
I am an experienced postpartum doula from Canada with a deep passion for supporting families through the transformative postpartum period. With 5 years of hands-on experience, I provide compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to the unique needs each family requires.
I wholeheartedly believe in the power of community and love to create a warm, supportive village for every family I work with. It truly does take a village to raise a family, and I approach my work with a compassionate, heartwarming personality, always striving to make families feel valued, well-supported, and cared for as they navigate the joys and challenges of parenthood.
My Experience
As a final-year midwifery student, I have a deep understanding of maternal and newborn health, which enhances my ability to provide comprehensive and invaluable support. My approach prioritizes creating a nurturing and empowering environment, helping parents build confidence in their new roles while promoting the health and well-being of both the baby and the family as a whole.
In addition to my midwifery experience, I have many years of hands-on experience caring for school-aged children, as well as toddlers and young children. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting families with multiple children, which has further deepened my understanding of child development, caregiving, and the importance of ensuring each child receives the care and attention they need.
I also specialize in postpartum recovery, newborn care, family education, and have extensive experience with breastfeeding and bottle-feeding support.
For families who are interested, I offer childbirth education classes to help prepare them for the birthing process and guide them through this exciting journey.
This ensures families feel supported, informed, and cared for during this special time. My professional and empathetic care reflects my commitment to helping families thrive.
My Qualifications
I am a certified birth and postpartum doula, certified childbirth educator, and specialized Christian childbirth educator. Currently, I am a final-year midwifery student with first-aid training and extensive infant feeding expertise
