About Me
I am a student at the university of St Andrews with extensive experience working with children in different settings. I am gentle, patient and warm and I have enjoyed working with all kinds of children as well as young people with special needs. Working with children and caring for others gives me a great sense of joy and accomplishment. I am passionate about helping children to learn, grow and develop in a fun and engaging way. In my free time I love to spend time outdoors, I enjoy cooking and baking, and I also love to sing.
My Experience
Some of my experience includes working in various school settings. Working in a mainstream primary school as well as a SEND school, has provided me with the knowledge and strategies necessary to not only help children grow, develop and flourish, but it has also taught me how to deal with difficult behaviours and tricky situations under pressure. Furthermore, I have experience working as a children's entertainer for two different companies. The first company that I worked for involved leading children through imagination games as well as the use of puppetry. The second company, and the company that I currently work for when I am in my hometown, has a greater focus on character work, portraying Disney princesses. This requires me to sing, dance and perform, leading the children through fun games and activities. I also volunteered with a theatre club, assisting children and young people, some with special needs.

My Availability
I am available most weekends and I have flexibility during the week. Early mornings, afternoons and evenings work best for me. I have classes 10am-2/3pm most week days, but I can work outside of these hours.
