My Experience
Currently a full-time live-in nanny with experience providing round-the-clock care for a 16-month-old with also part time care for an 11 and 6 year old girl in a rural, outdoor-focused setting. Responsibilities included all aspects of child care, such as feeding (preparing healthy meals and snacks), managing nap and bedtime routines, and ensuring the child’s safety and comfort throughout the day and night. The nanny encouraged developmental milestones through outdoor play, exploration, and age-appropriate activities that promoted physical and cognitive growth. In addition to childcare, duties also involved general housekeeping—cooking, cleaning, laundry, and maintaining an organized, tidy home. The nanny was responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment, working independently in a rural area while maintaining a strong bond with the child.
