About Me
Hello, I'm Kallia and I run Investment in Knowledge. I am a qualified teacher and I have been in education since 2016. I offer private tuition to children and support to parents.
I offer tuition in all primary subjects, entrance exams, GCSE Maths, GCSE English and A-level English (literature and language). I also support children with SEN and EAL. I can help you understand your child's abilities, explain their report and guide you through the process of a diagnosis (dyslexia, dyscalculia, ASD, EHCPs etc) and the next steps to help them in education and later in life.
All my lessons are personalised to meet the needs of each individual. My lessons are fun and engaging, making learning a joyful, positive and productive experience. As the name Investment in Knowledge suggests, I feel that knowledge is an investment, which builds confidence and competence. My aim is to provide all my students the unwavering support to succeed.
Figuring out the education system can be challenging. I can offer expert advice and guide you through, with understanding towards your family's needs and without judgement.
My Experience
I have worked in education since 2013 and qualified as a teacher in 2016. I have since worked in the education system as a teacher and I have been offering private tuition and support since 2016.
My roles in the education system as a teacher have included class based teacher, cover teacher, intervention teacher (SATs, reading, SEN), EAL support scheme leader and SEN parent guidance and care. I have also been involved in teams within schools which looked after the mental health and well-being of children and established connections with the community.
My Qualifications
I have a Ba(Hons) in Education from the University of the West of England. I am currently in the process of furthering my training into reading related disorders such as dyslexia.

My Fees
- Tutoring from £32.00 per hour
Private tuition from £32-45/hour depending on the subject and level. Guidance support charged based on my hourly rate and the needs of the support.
