I’m an 18-year-old student who absolutely loves working with children. Within my family, I’ve always been the go-to person for babysitting and helping with little ones. I have a caring, responsible nature, and I really enjoy creating a safe and fun space where kids feel happy and comfortable.
When I’m not studying, I love spending time outdoors, whether it’s running or hiking. I also enjoy bringing that sense of adventure into childminding by encouraging outdoor play and fun activities that help children explore and learn in a playful way. Additionally, I am comfortable with pets including large dogs.
I’m patient, nurturing, and love seeing kids' imaginations come to life. I’d be thrilled to be part of your little one’s world, helping them grow, learn, and have lots of fun along the way!
My Experience
I have hands-on experience caring for children ranging from 8 months to 8 years old. I’ve worked both afternoons and evenings, and I’m also comfortable with overnight stays. For the past 2 years, I’ve done bedtime routines twice a week for my nephew, so I’m experienced with getting little ones ready for bed, calming them down, and ensuring they sleep soundly.
Additionally, I have experience working with children with ADHD, which has helped me develop a patient and understanding approach, tailoring activities and routines to suit each child’s needs.
My Qualifications
I’ve been babysitting since I was 14, looking after children for 3 local families, as well as my own family members. Babysitting has always been something I enjoy, but since moving, I’ve sadly had to stop working with those families. I’m really looking forward to finding new opportunities to continue doing what I love in my new area!
I have 9 GCSEs (all A-A*) and A-Levels in A*AB. Alongside my studies, I’ve worked in customer service jobs, including pubs and overnight fast food, where I had to be responsible, stay alert, and handle late shifts.
