My Experience

My last role was at a soft play for children up to the age of 11 years old where I supervised children enjoying themselves in the soft play, making pottery and provided them with food and beverages. I loved this role because working with children at this age is so rewarding. During this role I learnt the importance of structure and routine for children and clear boundaries to ensure they are safe.

I volunteered at Bournemouth Montessori Centre in 2023 and 2024 which helped me develop my skills with children and gave me an understanding of the Montessori education method. The children I worked with were of nursery ages.

I took part in a youth mentoring programme where I completed a mentoring course and supported a 15 year old student. I enjoyed knowing that this student had somebody they could confide in who could lend an ear and provide un-biased advice.

I volunteered in a care home for people who experience dementia as an assistant for the Activities Coordinator. I loved supporting people to engage in leisure and social activities such as dancing and self-care.

My Qualifications

I am currently studying Occupational Therapy at the University of Southampton.

I have 9 GCSEs, A*-C.

I have 3 A-Levels:
- Spanish (B)
- Politics (C)
-Business (C)

My Availability

I am able to work 3 afternoons/evenings in the week and occasional weekends.
