About Me
I graduated 2 years ago from university with a first class BSc degree in nutrition. Since then I have been travelling the world from Canada to Asia to Italy, and working various hospitality jobs.
I absolutely love being active, being outdoors regardless of the weather, films, books and music.
I pride myself on my reliability, patience, trustworthiness, organisation and adaptability. Additionally, honesty and transparency are very important to me.
I adopt a gentle parenting technique and strive to provide a safe environment for the emotional development of a child.
I've previously volunteered in a SEN unit of a school, this taught me how individual everyone is and the importance of catering to specific needs so that everyone is heard, understood and included.
Moreover, it's very important to me that boundaries are respected. For example, I will not instigate physical contact and understand the importance of alone time.
My Experience
I spent 3 months this summer au pairing in Italy for 3 kids (aged 12, 8 and 5). I was in charge of taking the kids to school, extra curriculum activities, cooking meals and on some occasions travelling via plane to visit family members.
Prior to this I was working as an outdoor instructor at Go Ape. I ensured the safety of customers on our 50ft high course, and often provided words of encouragement to help people break out of their comfort zone.
Furthermore, I spent my school years babysitting for a handful of families in the evening.
