About Me
I have been a passionate primary school teacher for 22 years.
I would now love the opportunity to teach and support children out of a school setting.
I would also love to nanny for a family on a live-out basis.
I am a positive, smiley and caring person. I pride myself on the great relationships I build with children in my care and the nurture and support I offer them.
I am a single parent to two boys aged 13 & 10. I also have 3 cats!
My Experience
I am a highly experienced teacher of 22 years. I have taught predominately within Foundation Stage and KS1 (ages 4-7), but have also taught up to Year 6, covering classes and teaching small groups. As well as class teacher, I have also led and taught intervention groups for English and Maths and have great experience teaching phonics using various schemes.
I have been lead of PSHE within the school, teaching and supporting others with delivering lessons in PSHE.
I have previously been an Au Pair in the USA. I cared for two children aged 4 and 2 on a full-time basis. I was responsible for creating and carrying out a range of activities for them, including arts/ crafts, maths and early literacy activities.
My Qualifications
PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education)
BA (Hons) degree in Early Childhood Studies
My Availability
Currently, I am available Monday 9-12 and Tuesday 9-4.
As of January, I will be available to work Monday-Friday 9am-4pm (approx).
