About Me
After working as a teacher, I developed a deep passion for working with children and forming meaningful connections with them. However, I eventually realised that the demands of the classroom setting, with its many administrative tasks, were pulling me away from the direct teaching and interaction I loved most. This led me to make the difficult decision to relocate from the North West to London and explore a new career path. Although I’ve enjoyed the past 14 months in recruitment and gained valuable skills, I’ve come to realise that my true passion lies in working with children. I’ve always had a natural ability to connect with and support them, and I miss the personal bond that comes with it. I feel my strength lies in nurturing and guiding children in a more individualised setting rather than managing a full classroom. That’s why I’m now pursuing my dream of working with children in a focused, one-on-one environment where I can make a deeper impact.
My Experience
- I taught across Reception & Key Stage 2, giving me experience with both very young children and older students.
- I designed and delivered personalised learning activities to engage children of all abilities, ensuring lessons were stimulating and suited to each child’s learning style.
