About Me
Hi, I'm Clare, an experienced teacher working in Lambeth. I am offering services for tutoring from ages 6-11. I am a Year 6 teacher, so my speciality would betutoring children for their Year 6 SATs - Maths, GPS and Reading tests.
I am an enthusiastic and motivated teacher, who is able to get the best out of those that I work with. As a teacher in Year 6 for many years, I understand that anxiety children feel when it comes to SATs. Therefore I feel I have a patient and motivating approach to working with young people and ensuring the feel happy and confident with their learning. I am able to support children and ensure they embed all the skills necessary when it comes to end of Key Stage tests
My Experience
I have been a qualified Primary School teacher for 15 years. I have many years experience teaching in Year 6, as well as working with a range of children with Special Educational Needs. I know the KS2 curriculum very well and can support pupils in the build up to their Year 6 SATs, or for any year group at a primary age. My specialism is Maths, as I am currently the Maths Coordinator at my school. However I am able to provide services for tutoring in all subject areas at a Primary level
