About Me
My name is Grace and I moved to Edinburgh from the states for my masters in social work. I have a bachelors in social work from Utah State University. I have mostly worked with teenagers and older children in a mental health setting. I am passionate about the outdoors and believe that children should be outside as much as possible.
My Experience
I have worked in multiple residentials for both girls and boys which include a wilderness therapy, an eating disorder residential, and juvenile detention center. I am trained to work with kids from an empathetic and strengths perspective. I have also worked in kitchens and feel comfortable cooking for others. I currently have my first aid qualifications and I am trained in CPR.
My Qualifications
I have my bachelors in Social Work from Utah State University.
I am currently studying for my masters of Social Work at the University of Edinburgh.
I have my CPR and first aid certificate.
I have been trained in food safety.
My Availability
I can work evenings after 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. I am available full time Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I am on a student visa and only allowed to work 20 hours a week. This is pretty strict and I can not go over the amount of hours.
