Hello! My name is Jess, I am 18 years old and I live in Bishops Stortford with a large family, including 2 siblings. I have recently completed my A-Levels and received grades BBB with the hopes of going to university in 2025. I am currently taking a gap year and I believe babysitting would be the perfect job in order to keep me occupied during the week or on weekends. I enjoy working with children and I frequently look after my little cousins.
My Experience
I occasionally babysat my little cousins as well as my neighbour's children, which was a rewarding and fun experience. This responsibility typically took up about two hours each day after school. My duties began by picking them up from school and walking them home. Once home, we would often play games and read stories, or I would help them with their homework if needed. I also prepared snacks for them which included making sure they had something healthy yet enjoyable, like fruit, sandwiches, or homemade treats. I also made sure to create a positive environment, providing them with company until their parents returned home.
My Qualifications
I have recently received A-Level qualifications in English Literature, Media Studies and Film Studies where I achieved grades BBB. I also have GSCE qualifications including a grade 5 in Mathematics and a grade 8 in English, meaning I can also provide tutoring to children who may be struggling with these subjects.
