About Me
We are Curious Minds Childminding. We are co-childminders that have opened after working in a local Preschool for the last ten years.
We are passionate and excited about this new journey where we will offer a high level of care and an inspiring learning environment from our home setting in Norristhorpe. We will offer a home from home experience across 3 stimulating rooms and also an enclosed and covered outdoor area.
Our aim is to provide a child centred approach that meets the needs of each individual child and to always make the most of each teachable moment. Our daily routine will include making the most of the nature in the local area.
My Experience
I have worked in a local community Preschool for the last ten years which unfortunately closed in November 2024. I am qualified to Level 6 after completing my Early Years Teacher Training at Huddersfield University in 2020. I have a high level of experience and knowledge in Early Years and have worked with a diverse range of families.
I am a Mum of 4 girls and 1 boy from 19 years old to 1 year old.
Nicola Jones also worked in Preschool for 17 years as a variety of roles and has a vast amount of experience especially as a Senco. She is a Level 3 qualified early years practitioner. She is a Mum to a 20 year old boy and a 17 year old girl.
