I am a very friendly and approachable person who has a passion for making a difference to children’s lives. I’m interested in building positive relationships and rapport with children to enable them to achieve the very best that they can.
My Experience
I have been teaching for 5 years and I currently teaching in a Year 1 class. I have experience teaching year 1 to year 4. I have experience working with children with additional needs and meeting their needs with flexible and creative strategies. I have a particular interest in Phonics and Early Reading, however, I am currently the Maths lead and enjoy supporting children with their mathematical fluency. Therefore, I would be very happy to support your children in English and Maths, depending on the areas they need support with.
My Qualifications
Degree in Education and Philosophy and Ethics.
PGCE 5-11 QTS
My Availability
I work full time as a primary school teacher, but I am available for tutoring most week days from 4-8pm or Saturday and Sunday mornings.

My Fees
- Tutoring from £30.00 per hour
- Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
My babysitting duties would include some light tutoring depending on the needs of the child. For example, reading their book, some fun and creative Maths and writing activities to keep them engaged and motivated. These would be relaxed activities rather than 1:1 tutoring which I also provide for a different rate.
