About Me
I just graduated from university where I studied theatre in London. I am an artist who has always had a love for children. My mum is a teacher and I have been brought up in Montessori school environments, where I have been encouraged to think independently and learn in alternative ways. I enjoy being outside, doing creative activities (painting, pottery, crafting), playing sports and games, cooking/baking, guitar, singing and reading.
My Experience
I am a caring and imaginative person. I love spending time with children and have experience raising my two younger siblings through creative play. I am flexible when looking after many ages of children and babies (whether one-on-one or in groups). For the past five years, I have taught socially engaged theatre to children on the spectrum ages 8-11. I enjoy one-on-one care, where I can give a child attention and cater to their needs. I would be excited to meet a family, get to know them and their child/children and be involved in the caring of their wonderful child/children. :)
My Qualifications
I have a BA in Theatre and Social Change from Rose Bruford College. I do not have a teaching qualification but I have been running summer camps with children for the past 5 years and have been volunteering/babysitting with children since I was 14.
