About Me
I am a 37 year old loving mum and wife. I work as a physiotherapist part time and have years of previous experience in nannying and working as a nursery assistant. I am looking for a nanny/ babysitting/ mothers help role during the day.
My situation is a little complicated as my son is nearly 4 so not in full time school. I am available Mondays and/ or Thursdays and would be available to start from January 2025 but my son would be joining the new nanny family with me. From September 2025 I would be caring solely for your child during the school day. If longer hours are required and during school holidays my son would be with me again and I would need to drop off/ collect in the north of Wakefield area.
My son is a lovely, bubbly, friendly, sociable and clever little boy who would happily join in any activities I did with my nanny/ babysitting child.
Through having my own child I have become familiar with activities and groups in the local areas and would be more than happy to take out my nanny child and socialise them with others. I have my own car and a clean full driving license and I have a forward or rear facing car seat I can use from birth to 4 years if required.
Having my own child has certainly it taught me how precious they are and something you really don’t understand until you are a parent yourself. You can be assured that I will care for your child like my own and I believe through my life experience I could be a great mother’s help/ nanny again.

My Experience
On leaving school I gained a BTEC National Diploma in early years and worked in a nursery as a nursery nurse for several years working with children from 12 weeks to 4 years. Alongside this role I took on a nanny role for a lovely family doing before and after school care. As the children grew older I also worked for another family whose children were both pre school age. After several years in childcare I carried out a degree in physio therapy and gained a 1st class honours degree and have worked as a physiotherapist ever since including some work in paediatrics.
In 2020 we welcomed our little boy in to the world so I also have newborn experience with my own and I have brought up our precious son who will start reception in September 2025.

DBS certificate
Full clean driving license
My Availability
I am available from January 2025 with my son as mentioned above.
Hours available 7:30am - 6pm.
Happy for shorter/ longer days, flexibility/ more casual agreement.

My Fees
- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
Due to my life experience, qualifications and age I charge £12 an hour when I have my son with me, I charge £15 an hour when I am 1:1 with your child.
