Hello! I'm Sylvia, a first year university student studying International Business and Affairs at Northeastern University London. I'm from the San Francisco Bay Area in California, and will be living in London until May. I've always loved working with children, and aside from babysitting I am also happy to help with light housekeeping, errands, taking care of pets, meal prep, and homework assistance.
My Experience
I have a younger sister who has just started high school, with experience watching over her growing up. I have worked as a group leader for a week long, overnight camp for kids ages 11-18 the last two summers. Additionally, I helped teach summer business classes to elementary and middle school students in 2022.
My Qualifications
I am bilingual, fluent in English and can speak conversational Mandarin Chinese. I'm a sufficient home cook, and have good organizational + time management skills. I've been involved with and had leadership roles many school and community groups such as choir, musical theater, and marching band, requiring me to be a good communicator and leader. Community theater also gave me the opportunity to work with children from the ages of 8 and up.
My Availability
I am a full time student, with classes the whole day on Tuesdays and Fridays. However, the rest of the week I am pretty available, and weekends as well.
