I'm 19 and currently in my first year at the University of Edinburgh having moved from London. I can be very energetic but am also ale to lower this depending on your child's needs as I am very versatile.
My Experience
I have spent 6 months volunteering at a primary school working with all year groups where I assisted in classroom activities and spent time reading with the children one on one. I also helped run an after school homework club. Most recently, I spent a month volunteering at a pre school in Sri Lanka looking after younger children from the ages of 3-6. Here I helped support the teacher in looking after the children as they played, supported them over their lunch break, and participated in class room activities such as singing and dancing as well as helping them learn to write and arts and crafts.
My Qualifications
I have recently completed my A levels and have a DBS certificate in order for me to work in a preschool. I have also completed a course on child development and managing emotions with Freckles Childcare.
