Hi I’m Katie I’m 18 years old and I have experience working in a nursery with children aged 0-5 years. I am very passionate about working with children as I love to see children grow and develop their own little personalities. With a calm, caring and organised nature I believe it is important to understand each child’s individual needs and to be able to adapt accordingly. I love to provide exciting activities for the children to suit their interests. I enjoy taking children to visit the park, farm, beach and exploring nature. As well as other activities at home, which can include baking, painting and messy play activities to help the children’s development. I have a full clean driving license and have been driving for a year and a half.
My Experience
I have worked in a nursery for just over a year where I have gained my child care qualification. I have experience with ages 0-5years however I am based in the baby room which is 4months to 2 years.
At age of 16 I qualified as a swim teacher where I taught children from the age of 3 up 15.
Babysitting for 3 years for children ranging from 7 months old to 10 years old.

-NCFE CACHE level 2 diploma for the early years practitioner
- Full paediatric first aid
- STA (swimming teachers association) level 2 swimming award
