My Experience
I lost my dad when I was 5 years old, and ever since, it has been my mother and my two sisters. I assisted my mom in taking care of our youngest sister. I had to grow up fast and take care of my younger siblings.
I prepared them for school and myself; I dropped off both sisters at their classes before I went to mine. This experience softened my heart towards younger ones, and I have taken care of all my nieces and nephews alike.
As a babysitter and nanny, I have taken care of many children of different ages, from babies to kids who are almost teenagers. My job is to keep children safe and happy when their parents are not around. Here's what I do:
1. Make sure children have fun and learn new things.
2. Cook and give them healthy food to eat.
3. Play games, do crafts, and go outside together.
4. Help them with school work and reading.
5. Put little ones to bed and help older kids get ready for bed.
6. Be nice and kind, even if a child is upset or not listening.
7. Talk to the parents about their child and what they like or need.
I love children and make sure they feel safe with me. We have a good time together while their parents are away.
My Qualifications
I have Bachelors degree in Transport Technology from university in Nigeria. Ladoke Akintola University of Technology.
