About Me
I'm a 24 years old MA Social Work student. I have 10 years of experience as a babysitter, with multiple families. I also have experience with kids who were diagnosed with autism and I have worked in a school, as a teacher assistant, from nursery to year 6, and I was also a Portuguese teacher to a nursery class.
I believe that I'm very kind and warm, I have the ability to remain composed and patient, even in challenging and stressful situations, contributing to a positive work environment.
In all these years, I've always connected well with the families and maintaining in contact with them, which also enables me to watch the kids grow and develop throughout the years.
My Experience
I starting babysitting in Portugal when I was 14 years old, and since then I've being referred to multiple family friends as well.
Some of my roles consisted in establishing and maintaining positive relationships with children and their families, fostering trust and open communication and engaging children in age-appropriate activities, including games, crafts, and outdoor play,to promote their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
My Qualifications
I have a Bachelor on Science of Education, from a university in Portugal.
I'm currently taking a MA in Social Work at Anglia Ruskin University.
My Availability
I'm available all days at any time, with exception from monday and tuesday because I have classes from 10am to 4/5pm.
