About Me
I was born in South Africa but have been in the UK since 2000. I live in Chessington and I am a mother of two teenage daughters aged 14 and 18. I work as a Teaching Assistant in a Specialist Resource Provision at a Secondary school. I started babysitting in 2022 and thoroughly enjoy meeting new families and kids of all ages.
My Experience
I have been working as a Teaching Assistant since 2019. I have experience working in Primary school and also worked as a 1:1 with a student with SEN needs. I currently work in a Specialist Resource Provision at a Secondary school. I work closely with 10 SRP students in the provision but will also support them in mainstream lessons. I started babysitting in 2022 and thoroughly enjoy meeting families.
My Qualifications
I finished school in South Africa and then studied for three years to get my National Diploma in Business Administration.
I completed a month intensive course to receive a certificate in Teaching Assistant training. I completed a first aid training course during that time as well as at school as part of my role as Teaching Assistant.
I have just started a year course to become an ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant) as I take a special interest in emotions and mental health.
My Availability
I am available to babysit in the evenings preferably after 6/7pm as I work during the daytime. I am available over weekends any time.
