About Me
I am a 24-year-old university graduate, who recently moved to London fro New Zealand. I grew up in New Zealand close to beaches and the city. I was a curious kid leading me to a passion for books, learning and nature. I would join my mum in the kitchen every night, learning a passion for cooking and caring for people around me. I played water polo for 8 years, going on to coach several teams of all age groups throughout my school years. This is where i developed my passion for teaching and mentoring kids. I did my undergrad in science and psychology at Auckland University, learning even more about the world and people around me. Afterwards, I drew on my passion for nature and caring for people and continued my studies in sustainability. I have recently moved to London , and with British citizenship, i plan to settle here for the foreseeable future.
My Experience
While at university I had several full-time and part-time nannying roles over the semesters and summer. During the school year, I looked after two boys aged 7 & 9. These duties involved school pickup, homework, light cooking, after-school activities and school holiday work. During the summer I took on more full-time nanny roles. In the summer of 2021, I looked after 3 very active kids aged 2, 4 & 5. This was 8+ hour days of hands-on caregiving. In the summer of 2022, I looked after two girls aged 18 months and 3. This was part-time work 3-5 hours a day. This was comprehensive care including playing, cooking, nappy changing and excursions. Finally, in 2023 I worked as a tutor for several 13-14 year olds assisting with math.
My Qualifications
I have a bachelor's degree in science and psychology, with a particular focus on behavioural and developmental psychology. I have a masters in sustainability.
My Availability
I am Available all day and i am looking for full time work.
