I’m a young person who loves to work with children, especially babies and toddlers. I can easily calm down children going through strong emotions through different methods such as distraction, comfort and understanding. I am highly empathetic and think children should have their voices heard just as adults do. I am knowledgeable and always happy to share my knowledge. I am reliable and diligent when it comes to mundane everyday tasks, always ensuring the day goes as smoothly and comfortably as possible. I’m able to communicate in a timely and effective manner so I’m always able to give updates and reassure any anxieties you may have while away from your child. I respect families of all different types of cultures, identities and faiths, I know everyone’s situation and experience is different so I have a 100% no-judgment mindset.
My Experience
From a young age I have been responsible for taking care of younger siblings and cousins who are 10+ years my junior. I have taken care of all different types of children with different needs and personalities. I’m trusted by many people who know me personally and I’m the first choice among family and friends to look after children or help them in their education. I can manage and care for multiple children at a time, children of all ages and even have experience with children with special-needs.
My Qualifications
I have just left school so as of now I have no qualifications, but am currently saving up money to pursue higher education. I do still have many years of experience taking care of children, from new borns to 10 year olds, within and outside of my family.
