About Me
Hi, I have been a primary school teacher for the past 10 years. I love children and have been in the field of education for the last 20 years. I'd like to think I'm fun, adaptable, creative and great with children of all ages, abilities and needs. Learning doesn't have to be boring, if I can incorporate it into a fun game, that's my go to. I am great at managing behaviour and have high but realistic expectations of all the children I teach, tapping into their learning styles and adapting accordingly. I speak English, Urdu and Bengali fluently.
My Experience
I have worked with Nursery aged children all the way up to Year 6 most recently (past 4 years) and helped children pass their SATS tests. I teach in creative ways and adapt my teaching styles to suit the needs of my students, whether they may be Sen, have behavioural needs or Gifted and talented. Most recently my Year 6 students did so well in their SATs, my school's results were in the top 1% of school in the UK.
I have been head of Mathematics and Science at the schools I have worked at previously.
