About Me
Hello, I'm Megan I'm a newly registered childminder in the Cefn Glas area of Bridgend.
Offering a warm and nurturing environment for children from ages 6 month to 12 years. I am a mum and an auntie so have experience with children of varying ages, backgrounds, capabilities as well as disabilities.
I aim to run an all inclusive setting regardless of any gender, age, race or ethnic diversity.
At my setting I believe children thrive and learn through the curiosity approach and by being involved in the great outdoors which I will actively encourage.
About me:
I love nothing more than being out on a walk, be it by the sea, in the countryside or at a local farm park.
I'm a very easy going individual and take my job role seriously with the safety and happiness of the children at the forefront of my mind at all times.
My Experience
As a mother and an auntie I have a few years under my belt of providing the best care and giving the love and attention so dearly deserved to my family.
I have previously worked in an adult care setting as well as studying psychology with childcare elements so have a deep understanding of how children develop at different paces.
I have trained through PACEY completing their PCP and IHC courses.
Hold a 3 year paediatric first aid certificate
Hold a 3 year group C safeguarding certificate.
Food safety level 2
Registered with the environmental food standards agency.
Registered with the ICO.
