My Summary
About Me
Hi, I’m Sharon Casey, a proud mother of five who has worked as support staff at St Johns Primary School for the past five years. During my time there, I have had the pleasure of supporting children aged 3-11 in their learning and emotional development. Although my role has evolved, I remain actively connected to the school community and continue to offer my support in various ways.
As a mother of five, I’ve naturally gained extensive experience caring for children from birth onward. Additionally, I have provided nannying services for other families, which has deepened my understanding of the unique needs of infants, toddlers, and older children. This hands-on experience has shaped my adaptable and caring approach, ensuring that I meet each child’s developmental needs with patience and understanding.
My background includes specialised training in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), which has given me the tools to ensure every child feels included and encouraged to thrive. I’ve always loved getting involved in creative projects, whether at home or during my time at St Johns. From arts and crafts to imaginative play, I believe creativity helps children express themselves, problem-solve, and grow. I also prioritise outdoor play and physical activity, knowing how important it is for children to stay active and connected with the world around them.
As a flexible and reliable caregiver, I’m happy to help with school drop-offs and pick-ups, homework support, and weekend or evening care. I’m committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where children feel at home, whether they’re exploring new ideas through play or settling into their daily routines.
If you’re looking for a nanny who will care for your children like her own, encourage their creativity, and provide experienced, SEN-informed support, I’d love to talk more and see how I can support your family.
