My Experience

Whilst at university, I volunteered with young carers, aged 8-16, leading activities and supporting their wellbeing.
After leaving university, I taught English in Italy at summer camps for children aged 5-14, and spent a year working as a schools' Language Assistant and private tutor for the British Council in Austria.
In the UK, I worked at a national education charity, Action Tutoring, between 2020-21, tutoring children both in-school and online during the pandemic. I tutored primarily KS2 maths and literacy but have experience with secondary school students too.
I have also worked as a childminder since the age of 14, and provided one-to-one afterschool care for a neurodivergent child (aged 6).
I am currently working towards a part-time CELTA qualification in teaching English as a foreign language.
