Hi! I’m Caity, I’m a 25 year old Aussie, based right next to Highbury Fields. I’m available for casual babysitting, whether that be during evenings, weekends or whatever you may need!
I have extensive experience working with children. I spent a year as a teacher assistant at a preparatory boarding school west of London, have fantastic relationships with all previous nannying families and even dabbled in children’s party entertaining when I was in university! Most recently I was a nanny to 3 children in West London - picking them up from school, helping with homework and taking them to co-curricular activities.
I’m able to think of exciting activities to keep kids off screens, cook meals, and do light tidying up.
I’m also able to provide references from previous parents too.

Gap Assistant. Cheam School, Berkshire UK
2016
Year long teachers’ assistant role in England. Gap duties involved assisting staff with boarding house duties and supervision of play time, excursions, teaching of games and PE classes, sport coaching, assisting in the classroom and with other extracurricular activities such as school productions and musicals and being involved in the domestic and pastoral care of the boarders. Gap role designed for students as a closer connection than the teachers, giving them a ‘friend’ in times of homesickness and upset.
Specialist babysitting work - 2017
Cared for child with severe disability. The girl has cerebral palsy and epilepsy and is largely non-verbal. I cared for her and her younger brother over a period of approximately 6 weeks. Still assist when visiting my hometown.
Children’s Party Entertainer - 2018 – 2020
Entertainer duties have involved dressing up, working with large groups of children of all ages. Will work at events such as costume parties, pamper parties and large corporate events. I have gained immense customer service and engagement skills through this work.
Netball Coach – SCEGGS Darlinghurst - 2019 - 2021
Coaching netball and water polo to girls aged from 7 – 14. Pre-game duties involved making training plans and coordinating travel plans for the teams.
Voluntary Work with Staverton Kindergarten, Australia - 2014
Responsibilities included assisting the teachers with activities and supervision, setting up toys and activities, reading and outdoor play.
Voluntary Work with The Smith Family - 2015
Participating in the Student2Student Program. 18-week program involving twice weekly reading sessions (by phone) with a younger student who is having difficulties with reading.
