My Summary

My Experience

I have had nursery practitioner experience and have first aid training. I have volunteered at Girlguiding for 7 years and used to teach pe lessons and run sports days for primary schools around Harrogate; Oatlands Primary School, for example. I worked in a play center for 3 years, where I arranged events and activities for kids aged 1-9. I have also got a large family with around 10 children under the age of 8, all of which I have babysat over the last few years. I aspire to be a primary school teacher and am very excited to begin making those steps as it is something I have wanted since I was little.

My Qualifications

I don't have many official qualifications in terms of childcare, however, I have my first aid which i earned whilst being a lifeguard and have gained a lot of experience with the line of work I have been in over the years.

My Availability

I am available most times as long as I have a week or two notice in advance. In terms of emergencies, I will always drop any plans I may have as I believe it is more important to make sure a child has the car they need.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £9.00 per hour

My rates may be flexible for families I know well. I charge more for overnight stays and early mornings. Additionally, I charge extra for pick-ups from places like schools and clubs, and any jobs like cooking and amount of time I am there at a time (eg. £9 an hour for 3 hours, then £10 an hour for an additional 3 hours).
