About Me
Hi! My name is isla, and i am 16 years old ( i turn 17 in December). I absolutely love spending time with kids and believe i have a natural ability to connect with them. I have many siblings so ive had experience in babysitting before and i also dance so when were doing rehearsals i take it upon myself to look after the little kids and make sure that they are having a good time. Im often told that im very mature for my age, and i take my responsibilities seriously. Whether im organizing fun activities like arts and crafts, playing games, or simply keeping kids safe , i always approach babysitting with care and focus. Im patient , reliable and communicative, and i make sure to follow and specific instructions parents provide.
My Experience
Although i haven’t had any formal babysitting jobs, i have plenty of hands-on experience caring for younger children. I have younger siblings whom I've helped take care of, from feeding, changing and bathing to planning activities and helping with homework. Additionally, I've often looked after children during family functions, making sure they're feeling safe and entertained while adults are busy. Through these experiences, I've developed a strong understanding of kids’ needs and have learned how to keep them happy, engaged and comfortable in various settings.
My Qualifications
While i do not have formal qualifications in childcare, i have basic first add training. I know how to clean a cut and apply plasters properly, know how to take care of kids that have bumped their head and what warning signs to look out for and lastly i know properly how to care for burns.
My Availability
I currently do not attend school so untill i am able to get an apprenticeship i am available most of the time.
