About Me
We have a 2 and half year old and 10 month old. Our nursery has let us down and closed multiple times because they wouldn't/couldn't pay their staff, then they had no choice but to close due to staffing issues when in reality staff left because they hadn't been paid. Then just told us that they're increasing their prises by 20% because of the living wage increase. This is a right knit community and we all know that the nursery pays NMW to all their staff and it's absolutely disgusting. £12 increase for half a day when last year it only increased by £2. We hate the nursery they're at, but it's the only nursery that's open at 7am which works for our working hours. We need someone that can take the kids from 7.15 until 12noon Monday to Friday
My Requirements
7.15am until 12noon. Both our kids get their breakfast soon after waking up. Usually porridge (we soak porridge oats overnight and then you can just warm up in the microwave. No need to heat until hot as they're soaked oats). Or they have Weetabix or rice Krispies. Always ask Zach (our oldest) what he wants and give him the options. Then playtime. Jason does well with independent play but only if you're in the room. Zach is happy with "Bluey" on TV but we prefer to just take both kids to the play room (conservatory). About 2 and a half hours after our youngest (Jason) wakes up we put him down for a nap with a 7 or 8oz bottle bottle. We give Zach a snack about the same time Jason goes for a nap. We prefer to give him something healthy like carrot sticks, but if he really wants something else then we give him an oat bar. Then if Jason's not awake by 11.30 we gently wake him. Lunch is at 12.
