About Me
Hello, my name's Olivia - also known as 'mummy' by my two children ages 8 and 5.
I am a part-time photographer, (Olivia Kathleen Photography) and a lover of all things outdoors.
We spend most of our week outdoors, and can often be seen with our crazy cockapoo, Juno.
As a previous nursery owner and home educating mum, I really see the value and importance in quality childcare, that is unique to each child. We can own all the fancy resources and toys in the world, but the most important resource is the adult learning alongside them, and nurturing their every interest.
My Experience
I initially began my childcare career working in various nurseries in the local area. Here, I gained my childcare qualifications and gained experience working in several settings.
After a few years, I decided to go into nannying - which I LOVED!
I then went on to have my first daughter, which is when it all really changed for me. An incredible opportunity came our way - a beautiful piece of land that could be turned into the first outdoor nursery in the midlands. Myself and my sister jumped at the opportunity, and just 5 months later we opened the garden gates to Daffodils Outdoor Nursery, located just outside of Market Harborough.
We spent 8 years owning and running the nursery, before making the difficult decision to sell up and spend more time with our children. It was an incredible 8 years, but it felt right to slow life down a little, and reduce the stresses that came with running a business!
During the 8 years, I gained my SENCO qualifications and supporting many SEN children as they transitioned through nursery and onto school.
I have experience caring for newborns, as well as caring for postpartum mothers. From cooking nourishing meals and bone broths - to supporting with the older children and organisation around the home.

My Availability
I am available all day on Mondays and Tuesdays, as well as Wednesday - Friday, roughly 10-2 depending on the location and travel time.
