About Me
I am a mother myself first and foremost of a 2.5 year old boy, but looking to reenter employment within childcare.
Taking care of children is my passion and I have a wealth of experience, as well as qualifications in taking care of children of varying ages and stages of development, as well as experience with SEN children.
I focus on providing a nurturing environment whilst parents are unavailable (or taking a well deserved evening/day to themselves) for the children in my care.
I understand the importance of not only providing a happy, fun, creative and developmentally friendly environment for children, but also ensuring parents wants, needs and wishes are being met when leaving their child in my care and supporting parents when and as needed.
My Experience
I have over 10 years experience in babysitting, as well as experience in taking care of SEN children.
Previously worked as an Au Pair for a young gentleman (15 years old) with Downs syndrome for 2 years as well as a further 18 months as a nanny for a 2 year old girl and 5 year old boy with Autism.
I have recently been focusing on raising my 2.5 year old son who has Complex congenital heart disease where I have undertaken training in NG tube feeding, medication administration and peadiatric first aid, but looking to further my experience in childcare, as well as reenter employment whilst my son attends nursery and stays with his Dad on the weekends.
My Qualifications
Cache/NCFE level 3 in Childcare, development and education.
Peadiatric first aid.
NG Tube feeding and administering of medication certified.
Child health and Nutrion certified.
BA Arts and Humanities.
