Hello! I'm Alice.
I spent my early years in Sicily (Southern Italy) before moving to London at the age of 12.
Growing up in a close-knit family with two younger siblings, I naturally assumed the role of the responsible elder sibling in every family gathering and social occasion.
My connection with children has always been a central part of my life, which has been nurtured through years of babysitting, nannying and generally making as many little friends as I can :)
As well as children, I love animals. I grew up surrounded by various pets and for the last three years I have been dog-sitting whenever I can
My Experience
I have experience with children 0-12 years old and I am very happy to look after children of all ages, needs and interests!
I have worked as a nanny full-time for two years, I am now working with two families and children aged 1, 2 and 5. My last job I worked with children aged 8 months, 8 and 11 :)
I have experience offering after-school babysitting, involving pick-up and drop-off to activities, helping with homework, organizing fun pastimes for the older kids;
and changing nappies, feeding (and bottle feeding), bathing and supporting developmental milestones and sensory play for the younger kids.
As well as of course lots of playing at the park and going on trips on sunny days, making meals and snacks, and providing entertainment with a focus on off-screen quality time.
Aside from nannying, I have babysat for relatives' and family friends' children consistently throughout my life. I have also worked at Build-a-Bear Workshop, an interactive teddy bear-making shop.
My Qualifications
I am DBS checked, first-aid trained, can provide references, and have a level 2 CACHE qualification in Childcare & Early Years.
I have been doing nannying full-time since 09/23, have 8 years of experience providing childcare professionally, and my whole life providing amateur childcare :)
My Availability
I'm available to do ad-hoc babysitting on Monday and Thursday mornings, and weekends.
