About Me
I'm a positive, empathetic, and friendly person and I am particularly confident in my organisational and communication skills. My passions in life are sport and music, following me through every stage of life, and helping me to find my people wherever I go. I'm a recent graduate of Anthropology from the University of Sussex, and I am currently searching for a full-time job, but in the meantime, I'm volunteering in my local theatre in order to get involved in my community. I have worked with children in the past in different capacities, and have always enjoyed it!
My Experience
I have babysitting experience, minding kids aged between 4 and 13, as well as customer service roles in family-friendly visitor sites. I coached hockey for a few years at a club, creating engaging and enjoyable sessions, ensuring every child felt welcomed and included. While at school, I underwent an interview process and 6 weeks of training to become a Peer Mentor, where I was assigned to a group of year 7s new to the school and I organised weekly check-ins with them where we would chat, play games, eat biscuits, etc.
My Qualifications
I have a First Class Honours degree in Anthropology from the University of Sussex, as well as A-Levels, and GCSEs (incl. Maths & English). I have my Royal Life Saving Society Bronze Medallion, and I recently completed modules in safeguarding and first aid as part of my online FA Coaching Course.
My Availability
As I am currently not actively employed on a full-time basis, my availability is very high. I also live close to a metrolink and other public transportation so I'm flexible with travel.
