I graduated from university this year (July) and have since worked as a full time tutor for 7-9 year olds. I am leaving in the new year to pursue a CELTA course (teaching English as a foreign language). I have always been motivated to work with children. The course that I am doing next year will allow me to teach children English in this country and abroad! I love to read and have always loved to share this with others. I have an enhanced DBS and have plenty of experience looking after and teaching children under 10 (for my age). I am female, 22.
My Experience
I worked as a live-in nanny/au-pair for a year before I came to university in Earls Court, London. I tutor GCSE and A Level English Literature/Language. I have current experience tutoring SEN students. I work currently as a tutor for 7-9 year olds, this is full-time, 28 hours (so 28 children 1-1) per week. I also housesit/dogsit regularly and have been trusted by families in Manchester to look after their homes while they are on holiday...
My Qualifications
I have qualification in pediatric first aid. I had to complete this when I was a live-in nanny in 2021. As I have mentioned, I graduated from university this year with a degree in English Literature. I have a full driving license and I own a car (a nissan micra).
My Availability
I will be doing a part-time course online late January to March/April. This means I will be flexible with you.
