About Me
I'm a mum of 2 grown up children and 3 grandchildren. I enjoy spending time with them, taking them out to parks, farms and especially family holidays, generally just spending quality time with them. I also enjoy going on long walks with my dog, which keeps me fit.
My Experience
1996_2006 I was employed at a nursery where my duties were being a keyworker to a set of children, recording records of achievements and providing reviews for the parents.
I provided age appropriate activities where I planned and evaluated each day. When I finished my days work I would care for 2 primary aged children until their parents collected them from my home.
2006_2008 I did childminding for 2 boys both being 10 months old.
I provided all round care for the day, including, healthy meals and age appropriate activities. I also took them out to play groups and local parks.
2008_20012 I worked at a day centre for the Alzeimers society, providing personal care and suitable activities to keep them engaged. This giving respite to their families.
2012_ present I work as a play support worker at a children's centre, running and setting up universal sessions for 0_5 year olds.
I give support to them and their families.
I provide activities, such as messy play, soft play for walkers and non walkers and sessions which include age appropriate activities for 0_5 year old.
