My Summary

My Experience

I worked as a lifeguard for several years however my qualification officially lapsed over covid. This was at a funtime pool where I would supervise large groups of children. I also volunteered at my local first school helping children learn how to read. During my gap year I Au paired in Madrid to a seven year old boy and a 12 year old girl - and had a brilliant time! I really enjoyed having the chance to tutor them in english also. My responsibilities included taking the kids to school, preparing their meals, getting them ready for school, and tutoring them as well as keeping them entertained. More recently, I worked as a teaching assistant at the University of Bristol, teaching in sustainable development! I also have lots of experience working in hospitality so am aware of hygiene practices and safe food handling.

My Qualifications

I have an MSc degree in Human Geography, and a BSc in geography. I used to hold a lifeguarding qualification and was DBS checked although these have now both lapsed due to being 5 years ago!

My Availability

I currently work based on a rota that changes weekly, however I can negotiate with my work to schedule time off to accommodate your times and dates :)
