My Experience

I am a mother of three pretty awesome kids, I have become well versed with their needs, variations of communication and general growth, and how to encourage them to strive and maximise their experiences.
I have worked within childcare previously, nost recently 1.5years ago (before my youngest was born) whereby I was an after school nanny for a lovely Indian family, this involved collection her son from school, doing his dinner, light cleaning and ensuring he completes his homework before we played. I would also take him out on day trips with my family to bowling, cinema park and we had a great time.

Before this i have worked with a special needs boy who needed extra support to eat, drink, bath, and dress. This family needed help to support their child when he wasn't in hospital. I learnt very quickly on the job what worked for him, how he communicated and what his needs were. I ended up working with this family most evening and weekends. He was the most magical little lad snd proved doctors wrong every visit.

throughout my years I have got real life experiences with children. caring for them, raising them, safeguarding them, keeping them on the straight and narrow. I have all the time in the world for children and would do anything to give.them to best childhood ever. Any children I look after are treated like. my own children, and that's how I believe it should be, they aren't another number or job they are the next generation. I promote messy play, role play and stories.

I am currently working my way through relevant recognised childcare qualifications prior to becoming ofsted registered. As soon as I have completed these I shall update it accordingly on this profile.

I am fully DBS checked, I have full first aid and basic paediatric first aid trained, safe guarding trained, and GP health declaration cleared this has all been done during my employment with the police service but I shall update accordingly as a civilian.

These relevant qualifications have been completed during my employment with the police service, I shall update these properly following the civilian route into childcare. once I have completed the needed qualifications that are recognised my OFSTED i shall update this part of my profile.

My Availability

I can do daytime babysitting/nanny working Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with the occasional Saturday. please contact me to arrange services you may need.
I intend have my childcare business set up from my home late spring/early summer 2025 whereby I will be offering childcare from 0730hours Monday-Thursday (the occasional Friday or Saturday but this will be discussed on an individual basis)

As I am currently offering NON ofsted registered care on limited days my going rate would be £10.50per hour (this is also based on me having my 1 year old and 2 year old with me - shared nanny experience almost)
