About Me
My name is Laura and I am a registered childminder In the Mangotsfield/staple hill area of Bristol. I have spaces available from January 2025
At little treasures, we enjoy going out into the community daily. We love visiting farms, parks, soft plays and playgroups.
My setting is a relaxing space where children are able to learn through child led play.
The garden area is fully enclosed and has lots of fun and engaging opportunities. Child led in the moment learning as well as focus learning on topics such as the seasons, colours, shapes, school readiness activities (3+)
I have lots of experience caring for and supporting children of all ages with (or suspected) SEND .
We have lots of conversations around emotions and feelings and use “the colour monster” to help children label how they are feeling and tools for children to use if they are unable to say how they feel (such as different coloured spoons, green - happy, calm ect, blue - sad, upset ect)
I provide all nutritional home cooked meals (which also have vegetarian options) healthy snacks, nappies and outing costs in the daily fee of £65 per day.

My Experience
I have worked in the childcare sector for over 20 years. Previously an early years teacher and family support worker. I have good knowledge of the EYFS framework and follow this through a child led way.

Early years (BA) education degree
Full SEND diploma
Fully paediatric first aid trained

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.50 per hour
£65 per day - this includes home cooked meals and snacks. Nappies, wipes and daily outings are also included.
After school fee - £24 which includes collection from school and a light meal
