I am a 23 year old part time abseil instructor with an advanced First Aid qualification and an interest in sports and outdoors activities. I have recently come back from travelling around South East Asia, where I volunteered teaching English to children, and I'm looking to keep providing care for families and their children. I would provide an enriching and supportive environment for your children and have full availability to do so in the coming months!
My Experience
As part of my job as an abseil instructor for Tottenham Hotspur stadium, I have managed school groups of up to 17 children at a time and ensured their safety while providing them with an engaging activity. I am used to managing children who are scared or frustrated as part of this job, and responding to any emotional outbursts appropriately. I have experience babysitting in my local neighbourhood and have also volunteered in school environments, as an English teacher in Laos and as a reading mentor for primary school children, so I'm also used to supporting learning in children and working one on one with them.
My Qualifications
French GCSE, Oliver MacGowan Training (working with children and adults with learning disabilities), ECP qualification (First Aid training in remote locations, going beyond the requirements for First Aid at work), full DBS check.
