I am a bilingual English/French qualified primary teacher with a genuine love for children. I am reliable and trustworthy As a Mother to 3 older children, I enjoy cooking and baking, walking my dog. I am currently working as a Literacy Tutor for Reception and Year 1 aged children. I work mornings 9-12.30 on Monday to Thursday and looking for additional childcare, school pick-up, homework help for a family with primary school aged children.
I have been trained for anaphylaxis, fire and safety, safeguarding and moving and handling. In addition, I have an Enhanced DBS check.
As a qualified professional, I have expertise in the following areas related to safeguarding in a primary school setting:
Female Genital Mutilation (FGM): Trained to identify signs, risks, and respond appropriately to potential cases of FGM.
The Prevent Duty: Knowledgeable about preventing radicalization and extremism, ensuring the mental well-being of children and young people.
Keeping Children Safe in Education 2022: Familiar with the latest guidance on safeguarding, including legal responsibilities and responding to concerns or disclosures.
My Experience
I am a mother of 2 girls and a boy, now grown up. I have been a qualified primary teacher for 8 years, training in Year 1 and teaching Early Years to Year 4, in both government maintained and independent schools. I have led after school clubs in cooker, Lego, and arts & crafts.
