About Me
I am an 18 year old student currently studying Psychology at University of Stirling. As a university student living away from home, I’m looking to take on babysitting jobs during half terms and other breaks. I am currently available until 14th January. I am an individual who plays competitive tennis and enjoys staying active. In my spare time, I love cooking and baking, experimenting with new recipes. I’m passionate about working with children and aspire to pursue a career in childcare, which is why I enjoy babysitting as a rewarding temporary job while I focus on my studies.
My Experience
I’ve gained a lot of experience working with kids through babysitting and my role as a tennis assistant coach for younger players. Coaching has taught me how to connect with kids, keep them engaged, and make learning fun while helping them develop new skills. Between babysitting and coaching, I’ve built a strong understanding of how to work with children, which has made me even more passionate about pursuing a career in childcare.
Additionally, I’ve had the chance to gain hands-on experience in primary schools through work experience and volunteering, including working with my mum, who’s a teacher. These opportunities taught me how to manage groups, understand kids’ needs, and create a fun, positive environment.
My Qualifications
I am first aid qualified and have a level one coaching qualification for tennis which has enabled me to coach children from the ages of 3-12.
