My Summary

My Experience

I am an experienced primary teacher (since 2006) and private tutor. I currently provide tuition for children aged 4-11, predominantly in reading, phonics, writing and maths (however I am able to provide support for other primary subjects if needed).
I have lots of experience in working with children with additional needs (including ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia and SEMH) both in school and 1:1 settings. My approach to tutoring is very child-centred and focuses on developing confidence and learning behaviours as well as building on their existing knowledge. This can often mean that sessions may include oracy building and/or sensory adaptations (e.g movement breaks, fidget toys, fine/gross motor skills) to tailor sessions to the unique needs of each child that I work with.

My Availability

I am currently available to tutor on Wednesday evenings or during school hours on Thursdays or Fridays. I prefer to tutor in the home of the tutee.

My Fees

• Tutoring from £40.00 per hour

I charge £40 per hour or £35 for 45 mins (depending on location). These fees are payable in advance for each following month (dates agreed by both parties and invoiced).
