my name is Nicole Freitas and I'm from Brazil. I came to the UK with my family when I was 4 years old. I speak fluent Portuguese! I'm now living in Canterbury as i'am in my first year at Canterbury Christ church university, studying criminology! after my 3 year course I want to join the police and become a detective. in my free time I like reading, horse riding, shopping, going on walks and also going to church. I truly enjoy spending time with kids and assisting them in learning and developing in a secure, caring atmosphere, which is why I want to work as a babysitter. Being a babysitter enables me to positively impact young minds by encouraging kindness, creativity, and curiosity. I take satisfaction in establishing a disciplined yet enjoyable environment that meets the needs and fosters the growth of children, and I recognise the responsibility that comes with being a carer. Along with developing important relationships with families, this position offers me the opportunity to acquire experiences and skills that will help me in the future.
My Experience
I've helped out a lot in the children's department at church. that included sometimes helping them eat and mostly spend time playing and having fun!
I also babysat for my mum's 2 friends! one of them have 2 girls around the age of 5-8. I mostly spend the night when the parents need to go out.
my mum's other friend has a 2 sons, 1 age 10 and the other *at the time was around 2-4 months old*. I also spent the night!!
My Qualifications
I have no qualifications in this area but I'm more than happy to do a first aid course, dbs check or any other relevant course/training

I can be very flexible with days and hours just depends how far I'am from the house!
