About Me
Hello, I'm Abbie! I currently work at a nursery in Chelmsford, primarily with babies aged 1yr-2yrs. However, I do work with younger babies and toddlers, up to pre-school.
Alongside this, I'm almost finished in my studies to be a Therapeutic Counsellor, and currently visit a school once a week to offer counselling to young people.
I have an enhanced DBS check; I can understand how important it is for you to feel comfortable and trusting of the person caring for your child. I'm reliable, friendly, trustworthy and patient, and I love spending time with children!
I also spend a lot of time with my partner's 4-year-old niece (I'm known as Auntie Abbie!), so I'm fully aware of the demands and needs of not just babies, but young children too.

My Experience
I have babysitted for my sister-in-law many times, however I've not yet babysitted as a job! I've been in my nursery for coming up to 8 months, and we're constantly provided with training. I'm hoping to be completing my First Aid training within the next few months also.
I have studied a Level 2 Caring for Children and Young People as an online course; I have completed this course and have had confirmation of that, but yet to receive a certificate as such.
My Qualifications

GCSE, A-Level, BA(Hons) Diploma in Photography
Level 2, 3 and currently Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling
Level 2 in Caring for Children & Young People
My Availability
I'm available from Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 2pm onwards. I'm also available at times over the weekend, however one Sunday a month (usually at the end), is when I have a compulsory study day for my course.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
I charge £10.00/hr, and 20p per mile if further than a 5 mile radius from Chelmsford.
