My Name is Danielle,
I am a registered childminder in shirland derbyshire. I am married with a son (2.5yrs old) he attends Pre-School. I also have 2 friendly dogs Charlie the cockapoo and Ruby then shish tzu
I have years of experience working with children from 0-21 years old.
i have lots of experience in special needs use of makaton, pecs, communication aids, clinical training for peg feeds, medication etc.
I've spent most of my working life in care working in SEN school primary and Secondary as a teaching assistant.

I've also worked in children's personal homes, supporting them with every day living and experiencing things in the community. ( medical / clinical - suction, hoist, medication, chest physio, cpap, oxygen, passive moves and much more) also behaviours and learning difficulties
finally in a residential home for children with medical and behaviours & learning difficulties.
As a childminer my aim is to always offer a good flexible childcare service within a happy safe and loving Environment. Where children can develop and grow to their full potential.
All children in my care will be supervised at all times. I will provide a safe sn secure environment. I promote positive behaviour in my setting
I will take the children to softplay, play groups, libary, parks.

I HAVE EXPERIENCE WITHIN DAY NURSERY'S WORKING IN BABY ROOM, TODDLER ROOM AND PRE-SCHOOL ROOM
I DID THIS FOR 2 YRS
I MOVED TO A INDIVIDUAL CHILDS HOME WHERE I PROVIDED 24HR CARE, FOR A QUADRIPLEGIC CHILD SUPPORTING HER IN THE HOME AT SCHOOL IN THE EVNIORMENT ENSUREING ALL CARE NEEDS MET, FEEDING, WASHING, LEARNING.
I DID THIS FOR 4YRS
THEN I MOVED INTO THE SCHOOL SEETING, WORKING WITHIN SEN SCHOOLS AND MAINSTREAM WORKING AS A TEACHING ASSISTANT
I DID THIS FOR 6YRS
I ALSO DID DIRECT PAYMENTS FOR SEN CHILDREN GIVING THEM THE OPPORTUNITY TO ASSES THE ENVIRONMENT.
I DID THIS FOR 2YRS
I STARTED A NEW ADVENTURE IN SEN RESIDENTIAL CARE AND WILL CONTINUE TO DO THIS WHILE I SET UP MY CHILDMINDING ADVENTURE
