About Me
Hi, I am a recent psychology graduate looking for babysitter work. I am a trainee secondary teacher and have lots of experience with children. I am looking for baby sitting hours in the evening after school on weekends to gain experience with children of different ages and expand my skill set. I am first aid trained and have completed a full DBS check.
My Experience
I have baby sat for family and friends with children under the age of 3. I have also done some TA work in a primary school in years 2 and year 6. Currently, I am a secondary school trainee English teacher and have a range of experiences with children age 11-16. I have completed university placements in secondary schools dealing with children with SEND needs, as well as having SEND experience in my classes in my training school. I have a Psychology degree in which I took modules that included educational, developmental and child psychology. I am also first aid qualified. I am a good cook and am very creative in both games and arts and crafts. I also have a plethora of customer facing experience including cafes, bars and a luxury retirement village in which I have experience with adults with mobility issues and dementia.
My Qualifications
I have a Maths, English (Literature and Language), Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Psychology, DT, History and French GCSE (ranging from Grade 4-7). I have an English Literature, Psychology and DT A-Level (grades CBB) and a Bachelors of Science Degree (Psychology, grade 2:1). I also hold a Silver HEAR award for 50 hours of volunteering. I am currently acquiring my PGCE and QTS in Secondary English Teaching. I also have an enhanced DBS check as well as being first aid trained.
My Availability
I am available; Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday after 4pm as well as Saturday and Sunday all day. I do have some staff meetings that fall on a Wednesday or Thursday but these are once a month and dates can be provided well in advanced. I am also free during school holidays.
